30 November 2024
We warmly invite you to join The Cornell Club of Switzerland for our 38th Annual General Meeting and traditional Thanksgiving gala dinner in the elegant city of Geneva! This year’s event will be held at the luxurious President Wilson Hotel, promising a delightful evening of tradition, gourmet cuisine, and Cornell camaraderie.
City of Geneva
Geneva is Switzerland’s most cosmopolitan city. Here is where the United Nations European headquarters and the Red Cross are based. The city on Lake Geneva is also the cradle of watchmaking and home to many chocolatiers. Geneva has many sights, including the Jet d’Eau fountain, the flower clock L’horloge fleurie, the old town with the St. Pierre Cathedral and the Place du Bourg-de-Four.
Program Overview
The main festivities begin on Saturday afternoon with a private guided tour (in English) of the world-renowned Patek Philippe Museum, where you’ll immerse yourself in the exquisite craftsmanship of Swiss watchmaking.
After a short break, we’ll head to the luxurious Hotel President Wilson for the Annual General Meeting, followed by a delightful aperitif and our traditional gala Thanksgiving dinner. We extend our gratitude to Pablo Pizarro, General Manager and fellow Cornellian, for warmly welcoming us to this iconic venue.
We look forward to celebrating Thanksgiving together in Geneva, surrounded by the beauty of Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc. Be sure to register by 22 November 2024 to secure your spot for this unforgettable weekend!
We hope to see you there!
