Every October, Cornellians around the world gather for one of the University’s longest-standing traditions: the International Spirit of Zinck’s Night. Named after Theodore Zinck, whose Ithaca saloon was a favorite gathering place for Cornell students in the late 1800s.
Since then, Zinck’s Night has evolved into a global celebration of Cornell friendship and community. Today, alumni on every continent come together to reconnect, share stories, and welcome new members of the Big Red family.
This year on Thursday, 15 October, the Cornell Club of Switzerland will host gatherings in three locations:
• Basel – Chez Grissoni, Klosterberg 15, 4051 Basel
• Zurich – Mövenpick Weinbar, Nüschelerstrasse 1, 8001 Zürich
• Geneva – Ruby Claire Bar on Rue de Rhône 46, 1204 Geneva
Each event will include a welcome drink and light refreshments, with additional food and beverages available for purchase. Please register so we know who is coming!
