Dear Cornell Alums and Friends,
It is my great pleasure to officially invite you to this year’s Cornell Club of Germany Weekend from Friday 10 May until Sunday 12 May 2024 in Freiburg.
Next to our annual meeting of the Cornell Club of Germany, we have put together an interesting program including the usual guided city tour, a cable car ride to the “Schauinsland” peak with nice views over Freiburg and the Black Forest plus a guided tour through the “Silberbergwerk”. Please bring a pullover for the Silberbergwerk-tour, the locals told us that the temperature is 10 degrees Celsius all-year. Most if not all credits for organizing the Freiburg program go to Hans-Günter and Sonnhild: they are locals in Freiburg and I would like to thank for their support & dedication already now.
Attached you find a copy of the program and the registration form for the Cornell Weekend in Freiburg 2024. It would be great if many of you can join this year and we would appreciate a feedback until Wednesday, 10 April 2024.
We have reserved rooms at the Hotel Stadt Freiburg at favorable rates of EUR 160,- per day per double-room and EUR 125,- per day per single-room. Our room contingent is reserved until four weeks before our meeting.
