Discover History, Nature, and Great Company on Our Annual Hike
With nearly 20 Cornellians already registered, our Annual Hike is shaping up to be another wonderful day of friendship and exploration.
This year's route is especially inviting. Beginning in Lyss, we will walk through the historic town of Aarberg, follow the picturesque Hagneck Canal, and finish along the shores of Lake Biel.
Covering 16.6 km over approximately 4.25 hours, the hike follows mostly flat, leisurely trails, making it an enjoyable outing for a wide range of walkers.
Our featured article offers a closer look at the route, highlights the area's fascinating history and natural beauty, and includes everything you need to know before the day, from where to meet to what to bring.
A special thank you to Juerg (MBA '94') for once again expertly planning and leading this beloved Cornell tradition.
Join us on Sunday, 6 September 2026, and experience one of Switzerland's most beautiful regions with fellow Cornellians. We hope to see you there!
