Celebrate Zinck's Night in Switzerland
We’ll all have drinks at Theodore Zinck’s… Or so the song goes! Every October, Cornellians around the world gather for the International Spirit of Zinck’s Night, a cherished Big Red tradition that dates back more than a century.
Here is the fun part: Zinck’s pub in Ithaca actually closed its doors in 1897, and yet the spirit of the place lived on through a popular Cornell song and, eventually, this worldwide alumni gathering. Today, it’s one of Cornell’s most beloved traditions, connecting generations of alumni in more than 90 cities worldwide each year.
This October, the Cornell Club of Switzerland invites you to raise a glass in Zurich or Geneva. Whether you are reconnecting with classmates, meeting new alumni, or simply toasting to Cornell memories, Zinck’s Night is about celebrating the community that unites us all.
