🍁 Join Us for the Cornell Club of Switzerland’s 39th Annual Thanksgiving Celebration!

The Cornell Club of Switzerland warmly invites you to our 39th Annual General Meeting and Thanksgiving Celebration on Saturday, 29 November 2025, at the charming Landhotel Hirschen in Erlinsbach (AG). This will be the third time our club returns to this beloved venue, a testament to the exceptional hospitality and memorable experiences it consistently offers. Recently, the Landhotel Hirschen was named Best Wine Hotel in Switzerland by Falstaff by Wine Travel Switzerland, making it an even more special setting for our Thanksgiving celebration.

Join us for an afternoon of camaraderie, fine dining, and festive traditions, as we gather to celebrate another memorable Thanksgiving together.

Our Thanksgiving gathering is one of the most cherished Cornell traditions. It is a time to come together as a community, reconnect with friends old and new, and share the warmth of the season the Cornell way.

We already have a wonderful group of alumni, family, and friends joining us this year, and there is still room for more! Whether you are a longtime attendee or considering joining for the first time, we would love to welcome you to the table for an evening of great food, laughter, and Big Red spirit.

Invitation from the University of Zurich

Participate in a Language Survey

We are pleased to share an invitation from a research team at the University of Zurich, which is conducting a study on language and identity among U.S. Americans living in Switzerland. The project, Language Attitudes in the Swiss Anglophone Diaspora (LASAD), explores how Americans perceive and use language in both the U.S. and Switzerland.

If you are a U.S. citizen living in Switzerland, you are warmly invited to take part by completing a short 20-minute online survey — and you may also have the opportunity to participate in a follow-up interview.

For questions, contact the research team at ronja.zimmermann@es.uzh.ch.
