On the Trail of the Last Abbess
Join us in Bad Säckingen, Germany on Saturday, 8 June for a day rich in 18th century history.
We will be received by the author Sandhya Hasswani, who wrote the fascinating historical novel, "Die Ietzte Äbtissen" (The Last Abbess). Ms Hasswani will take us on a storied-journey centered around the life and times of Mari-Anna Franziska von Hornstein (the last abbess at Bad Säckingen).
Adelheid Lang, the cathedral's archivist for more than 20 years, will guide us on a tour of St. Fridolin's Cathedral as part of the program.
Registration for this captivating event that will take us back in time is open until 31 May!
