Celebrate Cornell’s Newest Students
Come to the Cornell Student Send-Off in Bern! The Cornell Club of Switzerland is delighted to invite you to our Cornell Student Send-Off celebrating the newest members of the Cornell community from Switzerland!
Sunday, 28 June 2026
14:00–16:00
Altes Tramdepot Restaurant Grosser Muristalden 6, 3006 Bern
This informal gathering brings Cornellians together to welcome and celebrate incoming students before they begin their Cornell journey in Ithaca, and to wish current students a great year ahead!
We encourage Cornellians to join us and share: - Cornell memories and traditions - Favorite classes, campus spots, and Ithaca experiences - Advice for first-year students - Insights about student life, clubs, internships, and academics
For newly admitted students and families, this is a wonderful chance to: - Meet fellow incoming students - Connect with current students and alumni - Ask questions about Cornell and life in Ithaca - Begin building your Cornell network before arriving on campus
The afternoon will include conversation, community, refreshments (including Swiss microbrews and pretzels!), and plenty of Cornell Big Red spirit!
Come celebrate with us Cornell’s newest students and welcome them into the Cornell family. Go Big Red!!
