Dear Cornellians, dear Friends of Cornell,

I wish you all a wonderful, healthy, and inspiring 2026. This year is a very special one for the Cornell Club of Switzerland, as we proudly celebrate our 40th anniversary.

As always, we have prepared a rich and varied program of events throughout the year, and I encourage you to stay engaged and join us whenever possible. I would also like to invite you already now to save the date: Saturday, 21 November 2026, when we will celebrate our 40th anniversary together with a festive Thanksgiving evening at the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois in Basel.

I very much look forward to sharing this memorable anniversary year with you.

Warm regards,

Horizontal Picture Kunsthaus Zurich

We are delighted to invite you to a special New Year cultural gathering: the Cornell Club of Switzerland’s New Year Art Tour in Zurich, featuring a 90-minute private, curator-led exploration of the renowned Kunsthaus Zurich on Saturday, 24 January 2026.

The tour will be led by Emma Miao He (MS 16’), curator, gallerist, Cornell alumna, and member of our Club, who will offer expert insights and fresh perspectives on Swiss artists as well as two of the museum’s most significant private collections.

Following the tour, we will gather for a friendly drink at the Kunsthaus Bar and then continue the evening with a fondue dinner at Zum Königstuhl, an ideal opportunity to connect with fellow Cornellians.

Given the popularity of this event, we have expanded the tour and fondue to accommodate up to 30 people. The deadline to register is 20 January 2026.
