Creating Cornell Connections

‌ Hotel_Kronenhof_Thanksgiving_13
‌

One of our most powerful advantages is our extensive Cornell connections that build meaningful networks. As we gain global visibility with our website, we attract attention from other Cornellians looking to connect with our Swiss organization.

Below are 2 Cornellians in different stages of their careers, one interested in Consulting the other is deep in Pharmaceutics and Biotechnology - both wanting to connect with our members in Switzerland.

If you have an interest, please reach out to them directly. We are sure that you'll be glad that you did!

Antoine Marc (Class of 2026) - Economics & Consulting

‌ Cornell_Consulting_Club
‌

My name is Antoine, a sophomore at Cornell University. I am pursuing a double major in Economics and Philosophy, alongside a minor in Entrepreneurship.

Originally from the Canton of Schwyz, I engage actively in campus life, notably as a member of the Cornell Ski Team and a commentator for Cornell Soccer games on ESPN+.

My professional ambitions lie in the consulting field. I am involved in two consulting clubs at Cornell, including the Cornell Consulting Group (CCG). Here, we undertake real-world project advisement for a diverse range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to
Y-Combinator startups and various non-profits.

I am keen to connect with fellow Cornellians, especially those in the consulting sector, to exchange insights and explore potential career paths. Additionally, at CCG, we are always looking to collaborate with new clients who could benefit from our consulting services. Please feel free to contact me at alm388@cornell.edu for any such interests or opportunities.

Dr. David Adler (MD/MBA) - Oncology

Bayer_Logo‌
‌

I am currently a Senior Director/Senior Clinical Development Leader in oncology clinical development at Bayer AG in Berlin (MD/MBA). Prior to joining Bayer in 2015, I was an Associate Professor (still hold the academic appointment) of Pathology at the University Hospital of Bonn.

I am interested in exploring career opportunities in the pharmaceuticals/Biotech industry in Switzerland, ideally in a role that would expand my skillset and broaden my experience. Therefore, I would be interested to connect with Cornell alumni in Switzerland who maybe able to share their experiences and advice. Please feel free to contact me at david.dr.adler@gmail.com.

Stay Connected

‌
We encourage both you and your fellow alumni to verify and update your contact details, ensuring invitations to local and university-sponsored events. It is unfortunate that some alumni still have their student addresses listed, leading to missed event notifications.
Keep in the know!

Reminder - Annual Membership Dues

A Big Red thank you to everyone who has paid their annual dues this year. We could not continue the Cornell Club of Switzerland without your support!

We have noticed a slight drop in our dues-paying membership this year. We realize when life gets busy, it's easy to forget. We hope you can take a moment and pay your dues this week.

Your opinion matters! If you would like to provide us feedback on how the Club is doing, please send us an email at cornell.swiss@gmail.com.

We thank you again for your feedback and support!
