If you haven’t yet done so, we kindly ask you to take a moment to pay your membership dues for this fiscal year (July 2024 to June 2025). Your participation is essential to the continued success of the Club and its activities.

Please note, every CHF collected is reinvested directly into Club activities and maintaining our website. None of our volunteer Board Members receive compensation; they generously dedicate their time to ensure the Club thrives.

Springtime at the Hermitage

On 30 March, twenty-four Cornell alumni, family, and friends enjoyed a private guided tour of the Fondation de l’Hermitage in Lausanne. The group explored a stunning exhibition of Impressionism to contemporary art. The centerpiece of the visit was the acclaimed exhibition “Trésors du Petit Palais de Genève”

A heartfelt thank you to Jean-Robert Bugnion (the great grandson of the estate owner) and his wife, Cornell alumna Jacqueline, for making this event possible and enriching the experience with their wonderful stories !

Cornell Chorus and Glee Club Enchant Audiences

As part of their Alpine Tour, the Cornell University Chorus and Glee Club gave unforgettable performances in Geneva and Zurich, filling the venues with soaring harmonies and a rich, diverse program spanning centuries. The concerts showcased not only the students’ remarkable musical talent but also the deep Cornell spirit of community and joy they brought with them.

Our friends at the Cornell Club of Germany have kindly extended an invitation to their annual general meeting weekend in beautiful Salzburg, Austria, from Friday, 30 May to Sunday, 1 June 2025. The weekend promises an enriching program featuring Salzburg's rich history, a celebration of Mozart, and even a classic boat trip on the Wolfgangsee.

A heartfelt thank you to Volkmar Hellmich, President of the Cornell Club of Germany, for the invitation, and to Wolfgang Schwackhöfer for leading the planning of this special gathering.
